“Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent.”

“I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.”

“Clean and well presented room and bathroom. Quiet considering it’s above a pub. Ideal for town centre and surrounding attractions. Overnight parking included which is handy. Have stayed here several times and can’t fault, highly recommended. Does what it says on the tin 👍”

“Great hotel, very convenient for a wedding we were attending. We had a fan in the room as it was a very hot day - aircon would have been great. Even though the pub below was busy, we didn't really hear any noise. Awesome breakfast.”

“The location was great, right in the centre of town,10 mins walk from train station. Staff very friendly and helpful with bag storage until check in. Room was nice ,very clean and comfortable bed,tea and coffee and biscuits provided. Unfortunately though we had little sleep as the noise levels from bar/outside rooftop garden ( same level as room) was extremely loud ,the bar closes at midnight and the noise continued til 1am and we could not sleep after that. So for that reason only we would not...
