“Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. You had to drive under 5 mph to try to retain the floor of your car. The second was...

“Access worked well via code communicated via email. Room was very clean and well appointed. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. Small bathroom with nice rainfall shower. Location was ideal sitting at the bottom of Steep Hill between shops and historic Lincoln (castle/cathedral). ”

“Great place to stay clean room lovely comfy bed good shower. 2 mins walk from the railway station. 24 hour manned reception good coffee! Would not hesitate to recommend this venue for a convenient night out in Nottingham. Parking 5 mins walk away which was ideal for us with a car. Late checkout was also available after a later night out at reasonable price too. Will definitely stay there again. Shampoo conditioner body wash in the bathroom too if you forget yours!”

“Sadly our room was very disappointing. Mould and dust around windows, mould in bathroom and drain in shower blocked so only able to have extremely quick shower to avoid flooding bathroom. Staff at reception were apologetic however for amount paid would expect more from this hotel chain.”

“Visited for a 2 night stay visiting family. Room was lovely and fresh and clean. Reception all friendly and helpful. Bar staff very very good. Housekeeping that i bumped into also friendly and polite Didn't actually eat in the restaurant but did have a couple of pints both nights, with some chips, and a choccy brownie with icecream the 2 night. Both delicious. Went as a solo female traveller with mobility issues and felt safe and secure at all times Plan to def stay again in the future ”
