“Quiet location even though it's just off the main road. Check in was fine until the receptionist said we were in the new block, which was out of the door and turn left. No signage showing where the room was. Receptionist should have accompanied us. Room and bathroom we're both nice and clean. Only comment we didn't like the pillows. “The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. While the cleanliness of the room and the lack of transportation options could be considered minor downsides, the room quality was still reasonable given the price.
