“Great position”

“Room 3, an Indugence Room. I’d say it could be more indulging - larger bed, mattress topper, bathrobes - for example. Unfortunately it’s above the pub so can be noisy, especially when the staff run up and down the creaky stairs - we spent the night in our room and it was a constant irritation. But other than that, the food is excellent, lovely decor, nice atmosphere, and Stockbridge is awesome.”

“Quaint property with rooms in the main building and in an outer building across a patio with table seating where we had a quiet, well-equipped, modern room. The Inn is a short walk to a scenic marsh and pond with fish/eel traps and a bench for savoring the peaceful view. The town of Stockbridge, about a mile away, is wonderful for window shopping (and purchasing!) and is the start of a beautiful picturesque 'marsh walk' through grazing cows and lovely pastures. “Perfect location for local pubs, cafes and restaurants. Stockbridge generally and the 3 cups in particular have a relaxed vibe. Staff at 3 cups very friendly. Very good breakfast and restaurant….simple food but well done. The garden in summer is very tranquil”

“We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the inn after we checked into our room. There are lots of stairs so we brought in only what we needed from the car and suitcase for the one night stay. The shower water was way too hot so my husband did not take a shower. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, room was quiet, and we enjoyed our stay. We did not have breakfast at the inn the next morning.”
