Great location is well connected to public transport . Breakfast was generous,but big dinning room was crowded and noisy. Staff was helpful. Regarding cleanliness... The room was small; the bed completely blocked access to the window, and the bed was accessible from only one side. When I moved the pillow away from the headboard, I discovered years of accumulated dirt left by previous occupants. Staff moved me to another room of my complaint, but second room was the same...I also found dust and hair from previous clients on the covered mattress... I found a lack of attention to room care. We've stayed at other hotels closer to Götgatan leads to Gala Stan. The rooms and bathroom are small, no closet space. We wanted to give Clarion a try this time. We picked the family room hoping more space for our two weeks stay. And it is about the same cost. We thought 10 more minutes walk is not a big deal. And it is a great great great choice. We open the door to our room. It is huge huge room. It has a living room, a king size bed, a large washroom with walking shower, bathtub and a wardrobe. We purchased breakfast. The sheer options for variety of food is amazing. The train station is right outside the hotel. It is close to coffeeshops, shopping retails and many many many restaurants. There is a hotel bar and restaurant. The staff are nice and helpful. Just a wonderful hotel and stay. We will definitely stay at Clarion again and again. Highly recommended. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 ❤❤❤

Unser Aufenthalt hatte sowohl positive als auch leider negative Seiten. Positiv hervorheben möchten wir die sehr gute Lage des Hotels und die durchweg freundlichen Mitarbeiter. Auch waren die Zimmer trotz der zentralen Lage sehr angenehm ruhig. Bei der Sauberkeit und beim Zustand des Zimmers gab es allerdings erheblichen Verbesserungsbedarf. Bereits bei unserer Ankunft waren Kotflecken im Bereich der Toilette vorhanden. Das Zimmer war außerdem sehr staubig, und obwohl wir über eine Woche dort waren, wurde während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts weder Staub gewischt noch die Bettwäsche gewechselt. Auch die Schiebetür zum Badezimmer ließ sich nicht richtig schließen, was ebenfalls störend war. Zusätzlich war die Kommunikation bezüglich der Frühstückszeiten am Wochenende sehr widersprüchlich. An der Rezeption wurde uns gesagt, dass Frühstück nur bis 9:30 Uhr möglich sei, in der App konnten wir dagegen Zeiten bis 11:45 Uhr buchen und per E-Mail wurde uns wiederum 10:30 Uhr genannt. Drei unterschiedliche Angaben zu einem so einfachen Thema waren unnötig verwirrend. Insgesamt hat das Hotel aufgrund seiner Lage und der freundlichen Mitarbeiter durchaus Potenzial. Angesichts der mangelnden Sauberkeit, der Probleme im Zimmer und der widersprüchlichen Kommunikation würden wir es derzeit jedoch nur eingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Clarion Hotel in Sweden, and honestly, the service, food, and cleanliness were all great. But the one real drawback for me was that I couldn't adjust the room temperature to a comfortable level. It made it pretty hard to relax. Everything else was lovely, but temperature control really matters for a comfortable stay. A fix there would make a big difference.

The carpet on the 6th floor smelled of moldy carpet shampoo. Note to those looking to book here: the pool is not an amenity of the hotel. It is part of the space that shares the space. Check which days of the week the spa is closed because you will not have access to the pool either on these days.
