The entire staff was very helpful and friendly at all times. The location was great.While kept well, the physical plant is showing its age. The elevator system needs modernization. Steps in rooms can be a hazard for older people. Buffet breakfast quite good.

Romance Awaits

This was honestly one of the best stays of our lives. Not because it was the fanciest or newest, it was certainly aged, but with timeless class and drenched in charm, but because everything was just so damn lovely. The staff clearly love working there and it shows through their exemplary service. There is no doubt that everyone’s pleasant demeanor is authentic. The food is fantastic. The bed was heavenly. And the views were wonderful. The most romantic getaway that we have had in a long time. When we return to Stockholm, there is only one place to stay. Bravo to management for creating such an exquisite experience.

Stayed here for the Stockholm marathon and it was lovely. Staff are very friendly and willing to help, and the location is perfectly placed right next to a nice park area and across the bridge from the old town.

Love the location and the restaurant. Beautiful building. Shops nearby. Gym was not reachable by elevator, problematic for those who can’t climb stairs (I can’t). Room was a little musty and small. Unfortunately no upgrades were available.

The staff was outstanding. They helped us in directions, making reservations for dining, ordering a car to get to the airport and having someone help with our luggage at 6:20 am. Quite impressive! Loved the charm of the hotel and the included breakfast was outstanding.

Our get away spot!

Great atmosphere and location. The rooms and hotel is clean and smells good. The beds are very comfortable as well are the pillows. I wish the blackout curtains covered better as the light woke me up at 4am and that the AC could be cooler (it was on but barely felt it). The breakfast is awesome, love the options from the menu as well as the buffé! I will continue to return here every time we go back to Stockholm which is once a year!

A wonderful example of old world charm. In the quieter more mature area of the city. Close to good shopping and dining options, very walkable to all parts of the city. Highly recommend this location !
