This is our second stay at Kung Carl and we love it! The hotel is beautiful and in a great location and the staff are extremely nice. I requested a certain type of room for my family and they were nice enough to come through. Thank you again!

Love the beauty of this 158-year-old property that has a lot of unique architectural aspects - likely created during a fairly recent renovation. The sky-lit diining room is fabulous. I asked for a quiet room so got a courtyard room and took many pictures of the courtyard - which iwas able to capture again from the first floor. Nice staff, nice amenities. Fabulous location, dining, and shopping.

Fantastic Old time charm with small backdrops

Very nice and elegant hotel, our room had a beautiful balcony too. Would hope for a better hairdryer and breakfast ends way too early - 09.30! But they had lactose free natural yogurt so that was very nice. Television lacked SmartTV so no Netflix posibilities for the late night hours.

One night two-person two-room stay - so so...

Small but comfortable rooms, though facing the street with much traffic, som opening the window for fresh air was out of the question. For some reason, the rooms are so badly insulated, that you can hear people in the adjoining rooms, even if they are just talking. For the money, better rooms can be had elsewhere...

Room 125 Suite, Close to the street. You thought the cars was driving into your room. So there was a reason why they had complementary earplugs in the room. Breakfast a disaster. Hardly no room between the tables. The scrambled eggs was done from egg powder. You would expect more considering the pricey room. Great service from the bartender with a pony tail.

Overall, the stay was ok. The staff is friendly. The food at both breakfast and dinner was good. The location is great. Where it went wrong was the fact that there is no AC. My room was 27c. The option to open the windows for ventilation was a non-starter, as my room was on a busy street with too much traffic and noise from the restaurants across the street. Their answer is to provide earplugs. Not a good answer. They also provided a small fan. It helped, but not much in a 27 degree room with effectively no windows. I understand this is an eco-friendly hotel, but most people cannot sleep well in a room that hot.
