"We loved this property! After having another property owner from another site refuse to honor the rental (he double-booked), we found this place at the last minute. The owner and his wife were so gracious and welcoming — and able to get the place ready for us in short order. The apartment is very charming and a lot more spacious than it looks online. "This property let us book a room at 7pm and although clearly on their site it states check in is available until midnight, at 9:20 we arrived to a dark abandoned house. We tried reaching the manager via what’s app and after an hour he finally answered and told us to “find another place to stay, he’s closed”. The property is non refundable so I’ve been fighting with Expedia for a refund which to this point they’ve refused to issue. Absolute disaster. I’ll be claiming a fraudulent transaction...

"My husband and I truly enjoyed our recent stay at the Lapad Hotel. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. We also really liked the breakfasts (one of the best hotel breakfast we have had!). The pool area was delightful, relaxing and peaceful. The bar/restaurant by the pool was also fantastic. The location was a little far from the Old Town (about a 30 minutes walk), but the access by bus or Uber was great. So, this did not bother us at all. We also enjoyed several great restaurants nearby. We fully recommend this hotel!"
