“The grounds and the winery here at Hessenland are beautiful. We loved being able to walk around and explore the gardens and lovely seating areas. The outdoor pool was a refreshing treat during this heat wave. The food and drink was fabulous and the staff wonderful, friendly, welcoming and helpful. We found the inn itself dated and tired looking. The rooms and sitting areas could use with an update and refresh like the rest of the property has had. On the whole though we enjoyed our stay.”

“Clean rooms, beautiful pool and bar, security is weird and creepy make sure you get dressed in the bathroom in your hotel room the old bald security guard walked right into my room. Wasn’t even aware they had copies of room keys. Scary!!!! ”

“The Rose room was well appointed and looked recently renovated. Kimmie was an excellent host (and her partner) and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and she was kind enough to have it ready a bit earlier than for the other guests. The electric fireplace was a nice touch on a cold night!”

“The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I liked the lounge area. You should be able to check in before 10pm, not 8:00pm like it says in the app. The location was convenient.”
