“This is a fantastic place to stay. Kangaroos and large sulphur-crested cockatoos feel like part of the cottage itself. You naturally greet the animals as you see them around, and in the early morning you wake up to unique bird sounds that make you feel as if you are in the middle of the forest.
The fireplace in the living room is wonderfully warm, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are excellent.”

“Pros:
- receptionist was great
- very fast check in
Cons:
- For a “hotel” I expect having basic amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste.
- the room was clean for the most part. The bathroom had a foul, mildew smell and was greasy. Which felt very unhygienic for a 4-star establishment”

“The good points were the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the location was quiet and facilities were good.
The bad were there were 3, however the room was only set up for 2, however this was rectified when we asked. The complimentary water we were told was always 2 didn't matter if there were 3.
The room service was haphazard the beds were not made properly or the dishes washed would have preferred no one to enter the room at all for what was done.”

“Pros:
Big cottage.
Scenic location.
Bacon, eggs, milk, juice, butter, tomatoes and bread provided for breakfast.
Nice toiletries.
Frogs in the pond sounded cool.
Rabbits everywhere.
Cons:
Emailed property to say we'll arrive around 4pm.
No reply.
We arrive at 4:15pm to find reception closed and a mobile number. Called and about 5 mins later are sent a road map (?) and where to find the key.
Wi-fi had full bars, but was "connected without internet".
No reply when I reached out.

“The rooms are great. But the process to get there was awful.
I booked using Expedia 3 weeks out and chose the pay at check in option. Received a welcome letter via Expedia from the property and nothing else. Upon arrival, I was informed that they had cancelled my reservation 5 hours prior to my arrival and were fully booked.
After some unfortunate choice words, I was finally able to get a room.
The property itself is great, the parking is non existent.”
