βHad a really nice stay at the hotel for my wifes birthday, the room was lovely, comfortable and well designed. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic, particularly the dinner. Hving stayed in a number of similar hotels I have to say this one was amongst the best and Iβd happily reccomend it.β

βWhat a beautiful small hotel with the most helpful and respectful staff. Traditional lounge with real fire was so nice to come back to on a cold October evening. Fantastic breakfast offering cooked to your exact requirements. The room was very welcoming with lots of small but welcome additions to make your stay more comfortable. Well placed for the town which is just a short walk away.β

βBig disappointment. With a change of ownership, new management and an extensive refurbishment, this expensive hotel should be a joy. It was a bit of a joke and the staff agreed.
The room:
We stayed in the annex. No cold water for three days! Maintenance agreed the tap was broken but that was the extent of efforts to resolve it. One small bottle of water each was the solution for drinking and cleaning teeth.
No control for temperature inside the room. Control in the lobby for four rooms. It was...

βExcellent stay at Moness. I had the executive room (twin room) with my daughter. The room was clean, very spacious and the bathroom was massive. Made good use of the swimming pool which was nice and warm.
The restaurant was great - with all of the staff very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Can't wait to be back.β
