A symphony of Excellence at Regina Palace Hotel. The staff were outstanding, balancing high professionalism with a warm, friendly charm. Our room was a warm, beautifully maintained sanctuary. The attention to detail was incredible; it was spotlessly clean from the pristine windows to the gorgeous decor, with freshly changed bedding and clean towels always provided. From our lovely terrace with its breathtaking mountain view. Enjoying aperitifs there and dining from the Liberty Restaurant was pure magic. The meal was outstanding, and the service was so perfectly orchestrated it felt like a beautiful piece of music. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Excellent location but very expensive for what it was. Don't bother having aperitivo at the hotel - go into the town instead. We paid €32 for 2 Negroni at aperitivo time and didn't get a single crisp or nut with them. Meanwhile, you can pay 7-8 EUR in town and have a platter of cheese, meat, bread, olives, etc thrown in the proper Italian way. If you're charging a car it's worth noting that they'll charge you €20 regardless of how much power you put in and on top of the €20/night parking charge. Luckily we were only there 2 nights. Felt we were being milked for every cent. That said, breakfast was lovely, in a beautiful setting, and the breakfast staff very efficient. Grounds were immaculate. Lovely outdoor (an indoor?) pool area which wasn't pointed out when we checked in. Barrier to exit car park was also broken on exit and we had to have someone come and let us out
