We weren’t told the aqua park was closed until after we checked in. If we knew it was closed from a certain date, we wouldn’t have booked it or we would have cancelled earlier. It was far from everything.

Poor, almost terrible

The hotel is very old itself. Not clean. Service is terrible. Check-in took ages to finish. Bathrrom smells terrible. Aqua park is overcrowded and not clean.

The property is run down. Not pleasant to stay at. We had 6 rooms all of which had issues with the plumbing and the power. Water slides had no running water in the second day we were there so they did not operate. Showers were not working and a tech was sent out to repair. TV was not working and was replaced. The safe was not working and was never fixed. The a/c was noisy and did not work at all in some of the rooms. There was no drinking water provided in the rooms. The breakfast was like a high school cafeteria, just horrible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Avoid outwith July-August period!

Be aware there's virtually nothing at this hotel outside July-August period - no outdoor pool, outside terraces ALL fenced off, no aquapark, lobby bar closed. Beach bar open for a limited selection of cold drinks only, but area was unkempt and down 50 steps. We didn't get the holiday we expected here. We visited in mid-September, when the weather was still up to 28 degrees C and sunny, yet the hotel provided almost none of the services pictured on the website and booking sites. It wasn't just that the Aquapark was closed, but also the outdoor pool AND all areas around the outdoor pool - all the outdoor terraces where we expected to sit with drinks overlooking the lake were also fenced off and closed down. Not only that but even the terraces in the hotel building itself, pictured as the main image on hotels.com, were also closed off, rather than open with tables and parasols as pictured. The ONLY place still open to sit outside with a drink was the half-heartedly open Beach bar (note, this is down 50 steps away from the hotel and inaccessible to anyone with mobility issues). Even the lobby bar was closed throughout our stay, and our only option even when sitting inside was to bring drinks up from the restaurant bar downstairs - the staff couldn't even be bothered to bring drinks to us. I emailed the hotel twice on return, to let them know of our disappointing stay, & request they make clear on booking sites that all services are July-August only, but they ignored both.

Godt børnevenligt hotel

Dejligt sted med fantastisk vandland og egen strand. Godt nok med mange sten men vandet var klart og rent. Skønt. Gode, Rene værelser med balkon og udsigt over søen. Hyggelige byer i nærheden med god shopping og hyggelige caféer og gågader.
