Quite and posh neighborhood, with paid off street parking facilities. Staff were hospitable, rooms were old fashioned but clean. Walking distance to any food and drink places. WiFi was good, could be better if offered complimentary water. Breakfast was a simple spread but very nice.

Don’t believe all the reviews on here, we had a fabulous stay at the hotel. Yes it’s a little dated but our room was exceptionally clean (maid service daily) No air con but fans provided and no issues with WiFi in our room. Staff were friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Location is central for everything, only a 20 min walk to train station and bus stop at the top of the road. Supermarket just next door. Area is lovely and peaceful and only a 29 min walk to the centre of Stuttgart. Would definitely stay again.

On the street parking was free at night but the hotel has a few spots for 10euro a day. Building is older but room was large, very clean. Front desk staff was there until about 1130pm which was a godsend. They needed passport #s for all guests, which was a little strange. Had breakfast available for a fee but we didn’t partake.

It was good enough for a one night stay, team station was close by, the Sqaure was a ten min walk so plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, however the light in the bathroom didn’t work, one of the bed lights didn’t work. The bed was comfortable however the wooden bit on the bed was a pain.

The property is older but the room was large for myself and my two daughters. Lovely little deck off the room. Very close to the bus stops for route 42 that would take you down over the hill into Stuttgart and very easy to catch the bus to and from the train station. Staff were friendly and helpful and the area is quiet. There were other restaurants a short walk down the hill if someone didn’t want to take the bus down to the main business/shopping area. We chose to have breakfast included and had plenty of options. Can eat inside or in the small outdoor courtyard. We were only there two nights but we were happy with our stay.

Great value

Lovely hotel, only minor irritations. E.g. lift not working when we arrived back late one evening. The cost was much lower than other options of similar quality, perhaps because of the walk up the hill from the town centre. But Ubers are plentiful and the bus service is reasonable (just avoid the U-Bahn if you don’t want to walk up the hill). Advance guidance that the bus is better than walking from the station would have been nice
