This hotel is brilliant - friendly, helpful staff, really comfy room, super breakfast included and really good price. Brilliantly located for the U-bahn to get you everywhere you want or need to go and within walking distance of the centre of town, river Neckar etc.

Amazing!!

The staff is fantastic: friendly and very polite. The rooms are spacious, featuring a lobby and a seating area. The breakfast is the best I've had so far at all the hotels I've visited during my German road trip. Definitely, I will be back here, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

A bit dated but the friendly staff, excellent breakfast and comfortable beds made it so I'd stay again. Removed a star for hard to use shower, though the water was hot, it got all over the floor.

A vintage expérience

We had an amazing time in Spahr hotel, our room was really spacious and beautifully decorated in true vintage style. The hotel is located in front of the U bahn and close to many restaurants. The breakfast buffet is varied, moreover, breakfast is included. Definitely an excellent price/quality ratio! I would come again.

This hotel was a very good price and so for 1 night, it was perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very Retro with ‚70‘s decor- it was unique!

It is definitely an acquired taste. It feels like a hotel from the 70s (sunken living space, tacky floral pillows) -- I liked it, but it's not for everyone. The customer service was good, but there is limited parking.

Very old style feel with the giant room keys. We enjoyed. They let us put our bags in storage before check in so we could hit the Straße. Great staff. Breakfast was cool. Tea and coffee is made for you.

This Hotel is in a great location once you can get through the awful roadworks and closed roads in Stuggart. Great value for money and staff very good. Only gripe was despite asking in advance about car parking was not told about the under ground garage behind the hotel resulting in our friends getting a ticket and fine for parking on the road behind the hotel.

We had an great time at the Spahr Hotel. The service was excellent and Paul was great on the bar at night. The hotel transport links were excellent with a tram station outside the hotel and a train station only 10 minutes walk. The hotel might look a little dated but we liked the style as it was a bit different to your usual generic hotel.The bathroom was modern. The room was very clean. The room was large & had a balcony. Thanks a great stay!!

Good value for money hotel

Good value for money hotel. Tram to the city centre and central station right in front of the hotel. Although the rooms are large, they need renovation. I would remove all the carpets, and those sofas and armchairs that are old and just attract dust. Very uncomfortable beds, I really suggest to buy new ones. The hotel is clean, but the furnishings need a refresh, they are dated. Finally, the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast included with enough choice between sweet and savory.

All good. Stayed with my daughter after watching Denmark play EURO2024. Beds were a bit hard and breakfast was so-so (quite dry bread, but both scrambled eggs, yoghurt, cheese, ham and juice - no bacon, though..), but overall clean and as expected.

Reception staff was polite on arrival, slight language barrier. Room was clean but very dark as walls and ceiling was clad in dark wood. Room was spacious as was the bathroom. No tea and coffee facilities. Beds were comfy but could have done with more pillows. Bar was nice, drinks were reasonable. Evening staff member was unable to charge drinks to the room and would not accept card payment. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection and the two ladies front of house were excellent and very polite. Car park was secure. Transport was very good as the tram stops outside, if you want to visit the centre it’s a bit out of the way.

As a first time traveller to Germany from the UK, I was slighly sceptical about using Hotel Spahr. But to my surprise this place was amazing, parking was easy. Unfortunately when I arrived it was evening time so parking around the front had been taken. But the gentleman who runs the front desk opened the underground garage for me and allowed me to park there for the two nights that I stayed. I didn't even know there was an underground garage. The whole experience of Hotel Spahr was nice and the gentleman who ran the front desk was an absolute legend. I would highly recommend this place. I went for the Superior room with a single bed which was nice. Bedroom and washroom were both tidy. This will now be my go to place whenever I visit Stuttgart. Thank You Hotel Spahr.

Property was immaculate. Breakfast is good and staff super efficient. Hotel is across the road from U bahn stop, into Stuttgart in 15 mins. Plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Don't miss out on Bad Cannstatt, it's worth exploring too. I had a superior single room. Not sure what the superior tag provides, but it can't be additional space in the bathroom. I'm pretty small and it was a tight squeeze for me in the bathroom and shower cubicle. The hotel was unbelievably hot. There is an air con unit, but it seemed to be fighting a losing battle. The nearby church chimes all day, every day and not just on the hour, so window was closed which add to the sauna effect. Overall I would recommend this hotel.
