"We were absolutely delighted by the warm and kind welcome upon arrival on Saturday night by a super kind and competent receptionist who took the time to chat to our children and made all of us very welcome. "Clean, spacious room. Very good soundproofing for external noise. Generally quiet but the noise of other room doors banging was disturbing during the night. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was okay, but expensive for a basic buffet - almost no vegetables available, fruit was a bit tired, so not much choice if you don’t want eggs, meat and bread."

"What a wonderful stay at the Rosengarten Hotel & Cafe. I stayed in one of their other grand Victorian houses for a week. Villa Germania is not as grand as the primary property, but it is a grand, historic and well-looked-after house. The double room was spacious and comfortable. It had a modern bathroom with an overhead rain shower, perfect for relaxing after a hectic travel day. It is an excellent short walk to the center pedestrian main street, where a wide variety of shops and restaurants help you enjoy this beautiful German village. An absolute dream of a holiday! I am in love with Bad Salzuflen."
