We actually did NOT stay at this location. The room had been double-booked (by whom - Expedia or ??). The owner had tried to contact us, but we were driving with all messages and notifications muted. The first Expedia notification I got to contact the owner was recorded on my cellphone at 5:12 pm, Friday, July 28. Then I got several text messages from the owner - from 5:45 pm. The person told me to cancel the booking - but I was told by the Expedia helpline that cancelling was not possible, as it was 'past the check-in time' even though we were on the road. So the Sunflower Guest Suites owner tried to help by referring us to a neighbouring motel, which we accepted, as we were tired from driving all day. I feel there was a problem between the Expedia app and what the booking personnelle did to book two customers/groups into the same location and space. I will appeal if there is a charge on my credit card for the imaginary stay in this property.
