We have been traveling for several weeks and this is the only hotel he says he would stay there again in the future"

"Our experience at Lake Wanoka Resort in the Poconos was absolutely amazing! The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway for my husbands birthday. It felt like a true home away from home. The peaceful setting, surrounded by nature, made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The resort grounds are amazing. The other campers were so friendly. There is also a restaurant on the resort and the staff are so nice. My husband and I connected with so many people and they made us feel like family. The food at the Resturant is really good and the bartender Seth is Excellent with drinks. I highly recommend this resort for couples, families, or anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Poconos in a comfortable and welcoming place. We’ll definitely be back! "A little slice of heaven, next door to the Promised Land. We were in the area to visit Pa. State Parks and stayed here two nights. My wife found Rex Hotel online and she really relies on the reviews of past guests. With this receiving so many positive ratings we went for it. The no contact check-in and out was new for us, but no issues arose at all. In fact, everything went so smoothly it would be nice if others used this method. As far as Rex calling this a hotel, it is more of a motel, but on a luxury scale. I felt like we were staying in an upscale country resort. Our room was #5 and upon arrival, everything was very clean. Even though we never met the owners or anyone for that matter on site, we never felt isolated. We would receive text messages occasionally reminding us it was time to start a fire in our very own outdoor fire ring, using the free fire wood, matches and starter. I have stayed in some pretty fancy hotels all over the country, but the temperature control in this room is the best. We were able to keep the room at the perfect temperature without having to constantly change it. I don't know if I'll get back to this part of Pa. again, but if I do we will be staying here at The Rex Hotel. "
