Excellent service, everyone was incredibly friendly and going out of their way to help and ensure we were having a good stay | the resort itself is gorgeous with great architecture and amenities, especially the spa and outdoor heated pool | where the hotel loses is the room itself (we had the panoramic view room) as it's incredibly dated and falling apart.

Great hotel. Very clean room. Can’t praise the staff enough. Very responsive and courteous staff. Great location right on the Dead Sea. Wonderful views, beautiful sunsets. Gulf carts readily available to take one around the property which is quite large. Also enjoyed the spa, felt very pampered. Overall, wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

I recently stayed at the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea and really enjoyed the beautiful setting and direct access to the Dead Sea. The mud bath was a definite highlight. However, breakfast was disappointing — the staff felt inattentive and rarely acknowledged me, which affected an otherwise great stay. Overall, a lovely hotel with room to improve on service at breakfast.

Room was incredible. The spa and pools even moreso. Staff was courteous, and extremely helpful. We had a minor issue and they were so supportive to make our stay excellent. Highly recommend Kempinski if you’re staying in the Dead Sea, and especially the Spa rooms!

If you want amazing infinity pools overlooking the Dead Sea this is the place. Upmarket hotel with grassy good options and direct access to the Dead Sea. Where they massage you and apply the mud. Brilliant experience

Staying here was the highlight of our tour of Jordan when it came to the accommodation and people. The property is amazing, highly well kept and the staff extremely helpful and engaging and couldn’t do more to help make sure you had a fantastic time. We stayed in one of the panaromic rooms by Resense, within the Spa area. Huge room and beautiful views from our private terrace. Highly recommend this option as it also gives you full access to the wonderful spa facilities too! Special mention has to be made to the “Lady in Red” team of Era and Ivan. Such incredibly energetic and helpful humans. Likewise Alla the Front Desk manager who from the moment we arrived to when we left was so helpful with our room and suggestions of places to visit. All 3 are a great valuable asset to the hotel and brand. Thank you for making my birthday trip so extra special. Of course there was the delicious food, beautiful infinity pool and private beach future mud experience! Highly recommend staying here.

Just left the Kempinski Dead Sea. It was a lovely stay. It’s a resort and it does everything a resort should. Customer service was terrific. Very attentive. The area to swim in the Dead Sea was well taken care of and the staff always ready to give you a towel or help put your mud on. The spa was wonderful. An’am was so welcoming and attentive to our needs. The Dead Sea pool was amazing. We bought the half board and were happy with the massive selection of food at breakfast and dinner. Ivan was there every morning to check on everyone and ask if there was anything we needed. There is a huge construction project next door which sometimes ruins the serenity of the place.

A fabulous 5 star hotel but service challenges over the Jordan weekend (Friday & Saturday) when the local population descends on the Dead Sea resorts. This is a large property, spread over several levels and so quite a bit of walking or use of the hotel’s golf carts. The restaurants are excellent and the staff are very friendly. There are several pool options, all of which are worth trying out.
