"Loved the bush setting with lots of birds and animals to watch from across t he verandah. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Big room. Roaring fire. Walked to visitors centre for the Cradle Mountain bus."

"Peppers Cradle Mountain was amazing! The setting was beautiful, the cabins so warm and cosy, the lodge reception area was really inviting, and the nature walks around the lodge were stunning. Highly recommend this place. We stayed for two perfect nights. The meals at the tavern are really great and well priced too."

"Rooms are basic but clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and the view was gorgeous. Kitchen could use an upgrade as well as utensils. Overall good, although shower has bit of mould. "

"Had an amazing stay here at Wilder. We really enjoyed being immersed in nature, while still having all the comforts of a hotel stay. The dome, the outdoor bath and the lodge were highlights and gave the experience some depth. The backdrop is breathtaking and it's located not too far from Cradle Mountain which is some of the prettiest landscape in the country. Host (Matt) was great. Everything is well thought out and you can tell lots of love has been put into this place. Highly recommend. "

"We stayed in a private 4 bed bunk room with 1 double and 2 bunk beds. The bedroom was small but fine for the 2 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed and was a great place to meet other guests. The shared shower and toilet facilities were clean and a good standard. My criticism is that the price was too high, approx double the price of other holiday chalet style accommodation we stayed in which had private facilities."

"Room was excellent. The only issue was that we didn’t receive a message with our lockbox combination to get in the room. We went to the cafe down the road and they were able to get it for us. So no harm done, but if the cafe was closed we might have been in trouble. I’m sure this is a one of though, so please don’t let it deter you from a fantastic stay!"

"Lovely location, 1 of only 2 units. Great communication and check in process. Nice shower and bathroom. Outlook nice and can sit outside with views of garden and views. Good value. "
