Loved the location although a bit smelly when entering lift area due to bins located close by. The apartment is gorgeous throught out. ALL the pot plant where in need of LOVE & care. Not good energy having dead plants in pots. There were no hand towels or face clothes or dish cloths. Other than the above, we loved our experience of being being so close to the beach.

Overlooking Manly Beach. Clean. Comfortable.

We booked in a hurry, the photos looked great. The next day I read some reviews and my heart sank. Most of the reviews were very poor. We are a family of 5, we booked apartment 8 ( 2 bedroom apartment). After reading the reviews we expected the worst so on arrival, we were pleasantly surprised. The apartment was clean, bigger than we expected, had 2 bathrooms, a decent sized balcony out front overlooking beach, another balcony at rear off main bedroom. The beds were very comfortable. We found the manager to be friendly and very helpful. There was live music coming from downstairs not offensive but could be annoying if you like to go to bed early. It was finished before we went to bed so was not a problem. We only had one night ( Wednesday ). I'm glad it wasn't a weekend as I expect it could be noisier over the weekend and music would probably go later. The car park was tricky with a bigger car but we managed ok. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would go back. Not sure why the other reviews were so bad. Maybe the other apartments were different.

Disgusting

Disgusting place. I left without staying. Suffice to say, neither the owners nor Hotels.com cared. Some photos attached.

Location was the best thing about the Hotel!

We arrived at the unit and found it lovely and clean, the cleaners were helpful in making up the sofa for our two children. A few concerns however were the air conditioning did NOT work. It was very hot in the unit. The unit needs some repairs in certain areas. The balcony overlooked a noisy, stinky lane way that drunken party goers walked through in the early hours of each night. The unit is above a Brazilian BAR! It was extremely noisy from 11pm-3am! Myself and my small children didn't get any sleep. If this was mentioned in the Booking.com Ad, I would not have booked here. But location was AMAZING close to beach, all the shops, restaurants and activity. A great place to stay if you plan on partying. Unfortunately a bad choice for us.

Convenient location.

Very Clean apartment and management helpful with allowing an early check. in and communicated well prior to our arrival considering its self check in. Airconditioner broken, ( fortunately for us the weather had cooled down or it would have been unbearable) oven broken and shower leaked. Very noisy in bedroom with conversations from the stair well echoing up through an exhaust vent in bedroom. Lots of noise fro. Alley way below throughout the night as well.. Only 4 towels provided even though we had booked for a family of 5. Photo of view misleading at time of booking (I believe this has now been changed but definately no view from room 5 ) Overall the apartment was a good size for our family but there some factors mentioned above which were very dissapointing.it was however spotlesdly clean and in a decent location and staff ok to deal with.

No windows!

We were disappointed to find that the 2 bedroom apartment had no windows in either room! It was claustrophobic and felt like a prison cell. One of the rooms had no aircon and no TV reception. When we asked for the wifi password we were told it was 'broken'. There were dodgy powerboards and cords all over the floor. The shower in one of the bathrooms was broken. To top it off, either the fridge or aircon had an outlet drain pipe that led to a drain in the floor that was sealed off with plastic and created a dangerous puddle.

Tired and Unhappy

The overall layout of the unit was great however the proximity to the night club underneath made for no sleep at all on Friday night. The noise from Henrietta lane which was our view from all windows was well into the wee hours of the morning, I called police at 2.20am they were prompt in dealing with the matter I should have called earlier. On inspection of this property before I stayed there I was shown an ocean front apartment however on arrival we were provided with a Laneway view which was horrible. On Saturday evening the smoke alarms were activated and the building was evacuated at around 2.15am so another night of no sleep. The location is superb to all the amenities in Manly however if you are wanting any sleep and we were hoping for some particularly for our 15 month old and 3 year old it just won't happen here. The car space provided was so tight we had to enter the car from the passenger side of the vehicle. Value for money was not provided for what we paid I expected far more. Never again sorry to say.

Across the road from the beach

Great location with direct access to the beach directly across the road. Beds were comfortable and facilities fine. Unit is located in the centre of the building so there were no windows for fresh air but the bedroom fans and split system air conditioners made it more than comfortable. I would stay here again no question.

Very spacious apartment. Although the 2 single beds rolled around every time you turned around. they need stoppers. Apart from that.. all good.

Room booked was not what was pictured

Disappointing experience !! Room was like a dungeon. Had the musty smell, couldnt breath. The room had no windows at all just a skylight with a vent fan in the ceiling . Definitely was not a room with a balcony and seaviews as advertised and pictured when booked. Car park disgusting & driveway has terrible hump, car damaging to many. Yes was opposite the beach but thats about it.

We atayed in Luxe 9 and really wouldn’t have wanted to stay in that particular apartment for many more days than that. The room was clean and very well stocked with linen, basic kitchen facilities (no cooktop) inc crockery and utensils. There were 2 bedrooms (main with TV & aircon, the other with a TV), 2 bathrooms both stocked with Shampoo/Conditioner/soap and a very small kitchenette. There was no lounge room or sitting room. There were also no windows resulting in none of the beautiful views that you see in the pictures. We couldn’t get the internet to work, the managers were available by phone to assist with the problem however we still were unsuccessful, again, because we were there only 2 days not an issue really. The parking for Luxe 9 is very small and hard to access with anything bigger than a Mazda 2 (which we were using). Unfortunately while we were leaving some people had had a great night and brought it back up in the elevator causing my husband to wretch the entire way down. Overall, ok if you’re a group of youngish people only using it to sleep off your nightly escapades but for a family, make sure to get one of the other apartments with a balcony and what looks like a living room. Would use again.

Perfect location for a fun holiday.

Right in the action with Beach walks and food all around you. There is a Brazillian Bar right below that played loud music on the Sunday night but the other 3 nights were very quiet. Great views and fun people watching. Bed was comfy and both kids slept well on the large couches. The only thing missing in the room was beach towels. Bring your own. Great stay and we will be back.

Good Location is the only good thing

Pictures on your website are extremely misleading, there are no windows in any of the rooms in this 2 bedroom apartment we stayed and it felt like you are in prison, and very claustrophobic. There was a very poor area to make tea and coffee or indeed to have breakfast, with a tiny table and 4 hard chairs (which was the only seating available) the place was clean but very run down, for the price charged. I would not recommend anyone to stay in the apartment we stayed, which was a two bedroom apartment, only one bedroom had air-conditioning and the other bedroom had a fan which was not good enough to alleviate the heat in this apartment. Owner was very quick to respond to my text messages.

READ THE FINE PRINT AND REVIEWS!!!

We were unable to stay at this hotel as apparently the fine print says bookings must be made at least 24hrs prior to arrival....even though our booking was accepted on the evening of arrival. The accomodation has no signs, no reception, and almost 48hrs later we have still been unable to contact hotel to discuss a refund, and wotif have been unable to contact them either. I also then saw that the accomodation requires a $1000 bond upon arrival. Sounds interesting......

The location was great, that’s about it. The bathroom stank, there was no ocean view, no reception and confusing instructions, very outdated style and the air con, aside from making a loud noise didn’t do anything. I ended up staying elsewhere.

Booked the wrong day and date by mistake. No small refund was offered and another dark dingy room with no windows was offered for roughly the same price, so we declined to take their offer and ended up driving home to Cronulla. We were there for a 21st birthday party for that one night.

Room was clean but party central

Stay here if you intend to party: it is situated on top of a nightclub. It is noisy on a Sunday night till midnight. No external doors are fire-rated. The smoke detector is covered by a plastic bag. The door providing access to the street is bolted at night by the security guard/bouncer of the night club downstairs!! Access by the back alley reeks of sewerage and garbage. The internal door latches don't close.

Someone hand parked in our paeking spot and had to leave the car on the road. They couldn't find our room key. The apartment had no windows.
