“The Staff was AMAZING”

“The was a great view of the port and a little nook in the window to sit. The hotel had great character. The best part was the helpful staff that went out of their way to make the experience the best. We love Syros and the Aktaion Hotel. We will stay there on our next visit for sure.”

“We were very surprised this is a Michelin key hotel. Yes, it had recently been renovated with lots of marble. Small rooms. Bad breakfast with tiny bufffet. Pool tiny and unclean. Hamman only by appointment. Check in person was arrigant and left us waiting while she did other things. Felt very disrespected.”

Daily breakfast delivered to the room with fruit, eggs, savoury and sweet items. We stayed 3 nights and much enjoyed our time there.”

“It was clean, well maintained in good location. Room was nicely done with private Jacuzzi in the balcony. Our room was cleaned every day and all the staff was very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent with different treats and delicacies every day. I would definitely recommend it.”

“Extremely pleased with our stay. Room was clean and well put together. Many options from mini bar. Breakfast was delicious, especially the orange cake! Terezdina and Andreas were very welcoming and took care of us from ordering taxis to calling a pharmacy when my wife got sick. They knowledgeable of the history of the area and pleasant to talk with. I would recommend to anyone. If you have stumbled upon this review, Just book it! You won’t be disappointed!”

“Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy our stay at Eclectic. It’s worth being aware that the hotel isn’t really staffed, so when you arrive you are sent a code to get through the door and then another for your room. Unfortunately the code to our bedroom door didn’t work. Fortunately the cleaner was still there and so able to help us access the room and the key. There isn’t a lift, so you have to carry luggage up a narrow staircase. Both these elements didn’t leave a great first impression. The rooms are...

“We were travelling as a mother & daughter and enjoyed our stay. Checkin was quick and efficient. Our room was spacious with a newish ensuite and we had the use of a large terrace which was pleasant in the evenings. The hotel was conveniently situated to town and the port. ”
