"We loved our time at Cago Guest House. My husband and I stayed for two nights and wish we stayed longer. Taketomi is a beautiful, quiet island and Cago is the perfect place to stay and enjoy it. The owners, a husband and wife, are lovely. We opted for the dinner both nights (breakfast was included) and all the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this place!"
"Everything thought of. We meet all kinds of people there. Had great time because they have "Yunkaku" time with free Awamori and we bring in food and snacks to sit around and meet and exchange. So layedback and great host."
"My husband and I had an absolutu fantastic stay here for 3 nights - it's the perfect base to explore the island while being located close to Ishigaki centre for great food options and amenities. The swimming pool was a fantastic length to do laps in, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of western and Asian options. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view over the ocean. We will definitely be coming back to stay again! "
"Very quiet environment without too many tourists around. Some restaurants nearby and the BBQ Ishigaki beef restaurant is around the corner. Overall it is relaxing."
"Overall, our stay at ANA was a delight. Breakfast options were plentiful and upscale (especially the Japanese offering) and service was always friendly and top-notch. My only suggestion would be to have a small section of the pool reserved for adults-only, as I felt the property was more so geared towards children (all three pools) and less towards adults/couples looking to relax. "The hotel was super conveniently located in central ishigaki, the room was decent and the coin laundry was a great amenity. The room had lots of options for hanging items to dry (which was super appreciated given all the snorkelling to be done). They have complimentary drinks including awamori in reception in the afternoons which was a nice touch. There is also an onsite onsen (but did not get to use) only minor criticism was they had very limited hours for the pool, typically after a day roaming around the town in the heat a dip in the pool would have been nice ~ 4.30pm but was already closed for the day. Excellent car rental across the road as well. Would stay here again."
"The hotel is beautiful and well located on the beachfront. We had a stunning view. The room was spacious, clean and beautiful.
The only thing we were very disappointed in was the poor level of English in the reception area. It was painful and at times impossible to inquire about anything. They have a service app that was helpful with most things but when it wasn’t working or it wasn’t a simple matter and you have to go through reception it is very difficult. "
