“A beautiful property located in a peaceful area with a complimentary breakfast. I stopped during the recent heatwave and was pleased I had packed my mini travel fan as my room had the sun in the afternoon, usually this would have been a treat, just not on this occasion. My room was on the ground floor and initially I thought, that’s no problem… except the windows face the garden and communal outside seating, so make sure you close the curtains to spare any blushes.. “Lovely warm room with comfy bed and immaculately clean linen. Tea, coffee and chocolate available together with biscuits. Bathroom spotless with minuature shower gels etc. Loads of breakfast choices with the cooked items cooked to perfection. Hosts very friendly. A five star experience.”

“It’s basic but it’s clean, bed was good, shower had good pressure and hot water, and my room was quiet. Some blackouts curtains would have been nice but other than that, for the rate, I couldn’t fault it. I am actually booking it again right now.”

“I requested breakfast but was told they didn’t do it anymore. The stairs were cramped with 2 turns and inadequate/absent rails. We did not meet any staff. There was a note saying how we could ring them. The hot and cold water at the wash basin were plumbed in the wrong way round. I did not see any indicator for which was hot or cold. It matters because this is where you fill the kettle. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm.”
