The hotel is beautiful - very midern with clean lines and lots of glass. Very clean facility overall as well as the room. The breakfast buffet was excellent and included standard European fare as well as American classics - American coffee as well as espresso and cappuchino were provided by self-service machines.

Great location in the heart of Taormina. Nice pool. Place needs a facelift. Staff was nice not great. They have a strict towel policy where you can’t leave the property with their towels - we had a boat trip and needed to bring towels so had to buy from a store.

We loved this place! Parking is valet-only, but by the time you arrive by steep switchbacks you’ll be grateful to handover the keys. Staff was wonderful, the views spectacular, breakfast exceptional, and walking distance to all of the coolest restaurants and landmarks. We’ll definitely be back!

Great hotel

This room was a great size and the separate shower/ toilet to sink area and large wardrobe room was great when you have four people sharing. The room had plenty of space and the balcony and seabird were great. We found the breakfast quality to be good and varied and loved the pool ( big enough to swim in properly and not too busy). Yes the hotel is down or up a steep drive depending which way you approach and driving through Taormina isn’t easy ( narrow streets and people everywhere) but the town is beautiful and the hotel was in a great location - easy walk to restaurants. We did a road trip around Sicily and this was one of our favourites in terms of location, room, view, food and pool.

We had a junior suite which was lovely and spacious with a large deck with views. Location is fantastic. Walking distance to main street of Taormina and so many shops and dining options closeby. We also made good use of the pool during the heat. Would highly recommend!

The location is perfect to explore Taormina with shops, restaurants and tourist attractions within a few minutes walk. The hotel itself is unique built into the cliff and the views are breathtaking. The pool is clean is spacious and always had sun loungers available. Our room was fairly basic but it was extremely clean! The front desk could be a little bit more friendly, but overall the staff across the hotel were fine. Be aware that the hotel does not offer an iron or ironing board, which was pretty inconvenient. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel due to its location in Taormina.

The property was very close to everything in Taormina and the staff were friendly and helpful. The property is down a crazy steep road the hotel was old. The lobby smelled like old shoes. Taormina is very fun. Highly recommend visiting the Italian opera

I recently stayed at this beautiful place and was blown away by the amazing customer service. The staff were always willing to help and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The surroundings are stunning, making it a perfect getaway. However, the rooms are a bit outdated and could use some renovations. Also, be sure to bring your own iron as the facility does not provide one. Despite these minor inconveniences, I highly recommend this place for its excellent service and breathtaking location.

Do yourself a favor: choose another hotel. Like several other reviews mention — and I can confirm — this hotel is sadly neglected and in a miserable state: broken shower door, ripped-off moldings, broken sun loungers, etc. The list is long! Cleanliness is poor: I found someone else's hair on the sink counter and on my bed at check-in. Old band-aids lay around the pool area for two days. A half-eaten, rotting apple was decomposing among the flowers on the room balcony. The balconies are filthy, the public toilets are dirty — and on and on. It’s a shame, because the location is good and the view is beautiful, but everything else shows a blatant lack of care — especially for the price. The internet doesn’t work — the Wi-Fi is extremely slow. I emailed them before my arrival to organize my trip and an excursion, and they took more than 10 days to reply — an unreasonable delay for customer service. Getting to the hotel is dangerous, with a steep slope and a 180-degree turn. At least they offer valet parking for €30 per night. I chose this hotel last minute because it was the only one available with a room for three people. But don’t make the same mistake — avoid this hotel.

People at the dining area was very not super friendly but food was good. Our Room, 702 was leaking from the AC which they tried to fix but still leaked. Rooms were clean, great location, fabulous view. Needs some remodelling but was a nice location.
