โWhen we checked in, lady in reception she was very kind and gave information about Russell. Some recommendatios were given as well so it was very helpful. 1bedroom is small but it has all we needed.โ

โSo happy with our choice of the smaller Waterfront option at Ala Moana Motel. We didnt need loads of space as we were on tours both days and pur Unit 8 was superclean, well positioned and comfortable. Older style bathroom but all that we needed. John our host was welcoming and helpful. Glad to find a guest laundry when we are on longer road trips. 2 mins walk from the Isite and tour offices, Restaurants and the town. Totally recommend Ala Moana. Free parking tooโ
โNice location between the shops and Waitangi Treaty Grounds. I was able to walk into town for groceries in just a few minutes - it's a lovely walk too, just above the shore. The ferry to Russell and Oteihei Bay is right there as well. There's a park with a playground at the end of the street. Paihia Apartments have a washer and dryer in the garage, plus a small kitchen. The owners are friendly. We enjoyed our stay. โ
โMy partner and I enjoyed this quiet and romantic spot. The views were spectacular and could be seen right from your room! The shower was great. The hosts warm and welcoming. The private hot tub though is really what puts this place over the top. Highly recommend! โ
โExcellent. Very convenient. Room was spacious and well-equipped. Staff was very nice. We actually couldn't make it for the first night because of a change in plans so we tried to contact the hotel but couldn't get through. When we arrived the next day, we did not get any funny looks or stares. We just got the same nice, courteous service we would expect. Plus, the location cannot be beat. Right on the beach. You can literally see the ocean from here! And feel that nice sea breeze wafting through...
