My young children had so much fun with cockatoo and kangeroo spotting. We could hang out around the cottage with everything in one spot, cooking, juices, condiments provided when we forget ours. “Stunning property! Stayed for a couple nights in Jan. Note that cabins are serviced via tank so hot tub water was a little brown due to this. High quality locally-sourced breakfast essentials and toiletries provided. Absolutely beautiful grounds that are very well maintained. Woke up to the sound of songbirds and gentle rain pattering on luscious green fernery. Highly recommend these secluded cabins for a luxurious nature retreat!”

“We loved the location and space for two people. There are two wash rooms (one with a tub and the other with a shower). There is one toilet room, which worked fine for us but to be aware of if you have a larger group. The kitchen was well stocked and Gaylene our host even left us a fresh loaf of bread from the local bakery and some jams and butter. The bed was comfortable, there was a washer and dryer. “Rose Cottage had a small fridge but it was generously stocked for breakfast items for the 6 nights of our stay. Location is good. There was pet hair and pet odour on the sofa which we cleaned. The pillow protectors and pillows were stained and not very comfortable. Spa was good. Television was very small and not all channels could be received due to its age.
