"Returning to Tashkent after many years was an emotional journey filled with childhood memories, and choosing the InterContinental Tashkent made the experience even more special. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the exceptional service. The staff warmly welcomed me, opened the taxi door, and always offered assistance with luggage. Those small touches made me feel genuinely valued as a guest.
The hotel is beautiful, modern, and elegant. My room was tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and impeccably clean. I especially loved the heated bathroom floors, which added an extra level of comfort. The shower was excellent, the bed was firm and comfortable, and the high-quality linens ensured a great night's sleep. Fresh water and coffee were replenished daily, and housekeeping did an outstanding job throughout my 9-night stay.
The breakfast was one of the highlights. The buffet offered an impressive variety of fresh and delicious options, with something for every taste. What stood out most was the staff's attention to detail. After just a few days, they remembered my tea preference and greeted me with, "Would you like your usual tea?" Such a simple gesture made me feel at home. A special thank you to Dilobar for her delicious cottage cheese pancakes, which became my favorite breakfast treat.
If breakfast was included in your room rate, the $22 cost is absolutely worth it. The quality, variety, and service are exceptional
InterContinental Tashkent is must stay."
"This place should be rated at two star. Such a complete lie to rate 4 star. Place with front desk sitting on couches in jump cloth and flip flops, bathroom small with moister, cocroches. Poorly managed. Does not even provide conditioner for hair or iron."
"The check-in was notably unpleasant. The front desk staff member was not only slow but also unprofessional, offering no proactive assistance. Crucially, the hotel systematically ignored every specific request I had submitted via the Expedia platform—despite having explicitly confirmed each one in writing. When I raised the issue, the staff member insisted I had never communicated my preferences, forcing me to retrieve and present our actual conversation thread to validate my claim. This was an embarrassing and entirely avoidable confrontation after a long-haul flight.
Despite my confirmed request for 2 twin beds, I was initially assigned a room with 1 king bed. Exhausted from travel, I then had to manage the room change entirely on my own—lugging my bags back and forth, exchanging keys, and re-settling without any assistance from hotel staff. The lack of basic hospitality during this process was striking.
The Deluxe room itself was mediocre at best. The beds were small and produced incessant, loud squeaking with even minor movement. Much of the room's hardware and fixtures felt nearly broken or poorly maintained. To the hotel's credit, the breakfast was delightful—genuinely tasty, with a varied and well-prepared spread. The restaurant team members were friendly, professional, and helpful. They clearly understand guest service, unlike their front desk colleagues. A great breakfast doesn’t compensate for poor staff conduct, room conditions- I wouldn’t recommend MLP to a friend."
"This is a wonderful and brand new hotel. The receptionist staff was very helpful, friendly, and professional. We arrived late at night and left early morning, and the staff was extremely helpful. Highly recommend."
