​I had a fantastic stay at Te Aputa Lodge. It is truly a great property that offers a peaceful and comfortable getaway. Waking up to the nice sea view was a major highlight of the trip. Additionally, the entire place is perfectly well maintained, from the spotless rooms to the surrounding grounds. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay. We arived late and host had it all set up. Beautiful property and garden. Spectacular view. Calm, quiet. Gazed at the milky way. In the morning we meet Callum and he shared the history of the land and his families connection to it.

Upon arriving we were hesitant that we’d found the right address. The absolute beauty of the location had not been given its due justice from the online photos. The new owners have done so much to revitalize the rooms, overall property and gardens. The panoramic view was epic.

Our room had excellent views of the Bay, the garden was beautiful and quiet. Our room had no bug screen but a can of mosquito spray was provided. Regardless, we ended up with lots of mosquito bites, which really ruined our stay. If staying there, ask the owner for a room with bug screen.
