“The B&B was amazing We stayed in the annexe which was like home from home Extremely well equipped and furnished to a very very high standard with everything and more than you could hope for The breakfast was very tasty 5 stars and more for the Hill If you are visiting the high force waterfalls like we did I would highly encourage and recommend that you stay at the Hill B&B ”

“A lovely, well equipped cottage, ideal for 1-2 people, nicely tucked away in a village that has so much going on. Clean, comfortable and a lovely welcome basket from the owners. The small kitchen area has everything you need, the decor is lovely and the lighting is great. The woodburner is left ready to light, though I didn’t need it. There is lots of local information left by the owners, who are very friendly and welcoming.”

“Very spacious well equipped cottage situated just off the main street of Barnard Castle right by the parish church. We were able to check in early, which was a big help, and when we arrived we delighted to see how spotlessly clean it was. The beds and furnishing were comfortable and would have no hesitation in reccommending the cottage to our friends and family”
