"We received a friendly welcome at the hotel and had the keys, layout and rules explained. Room was airy and a good size. Bed was comfy. As room was on road was a bit noisy with windows open. Very pleased and will recommend and use again in the future."

"A great place for an overnight stop. Old fashioned ‘rooms above a pub’ (or as my 17 year old son said, ‘very D&D’). Great to see a local pub doing so well - it was busy in the evening. Lovely setting too in Sedgefield - close to church and green. The food is definitely a positive - had a pub meal in the evening and then hearty cooked breakfast. Downside was that our room wasn’t fully cleaned - dirty towels on the floor of the bathroom. But we would stop over again."

"I like the location of the property as it faces the ocean giving you a serene view of nature in its gentle activity. The property is also homely and comfortable. Staff was good and friendly. The only disturbance was the subtle infiltration of ciggarette smokes from the the outside when window was open. I wouldn't know if other rooms were affected but mine was and it wasn't cool."
