By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Neither Expedia nor the hotel disclosed at booking, or prior to arrival, that the hotel was undergoing extensive renovation. This constitutes a booking taken in bad faith, as the hotel clearly knew and Expedia should reasonably have known the property was not operating normally. The impact included: • Central heating failure for the entire stay (January). A portable heater was inadequate. Extra bedding was repeatedly requested but never supplied. • Intermittent loss of hot water. • A bathroom and shower that failed to drain, causing water to overflow. • Renovation noise continuing late into the night. • Floor varnishing causing strong acetone fumes and severe headaches. • Breakfast and reception relocated to another hotel without notice. • Rooms poorly cleaned and inadequately maintained. • No heating in communal areas. The hotel was aware that one guest was disabled and still failed to disclose these conditions. The lack of heating and need to walk to another hotel for services had a direct adverse impact on my mother. This trip was intended as a family celebration but was undermined by the hotel conditions. Expedia were informed during the stay but were unable to resolve the issues, despite a request to move us to alternative accommodation within the same hotel chain. Taken together, these issues raise serious concerns about both the hotel’s and Expedia’s approach to health, safety, accessibility, and duty of care.

By way the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Neither Expedia nor the hotel told us that the hotel was going through extensive renovation at the time of booking or at anytime before arrival. The impact of this: - central heating failed for the whole stay (January stay). A portable was provide that was inadequate for room size. Extra sheets requested but never provided despite staff assurances and requests on multiple occasions. - no hot water for periods of our stay - renovations were noisy and on going into the night - varnishing of floor resulted in strong asertone smell in rooms and severe headaches - breakfast and reception moved to another hotel without notice - rooms were not clean - rooms not maintained well - no heating in communal areas I should also say that the hotel was aware that one guest was disabled and still chose not to disclose the above. The lack of heating and have to walk to the other hotels for breakfast and reception services adversely impacted my mother. This was supposed to be a trip was supposed to be a family celebration but it ended up being tarnished by the conditions of the hotel. It should be noted that Expedia were informed and were unable to resolve these issues during our stay, despite a request to move us to another, more suitable accommodation in the same hotel chain of this hotel. The above represents serious concerns in relation to both the hotel and Expedia’s attitude to health and safety and disability of their customers.

We were not told in advance of renovation works being carried out at the hotel (which we were not informed about at booking or at any point until we arrived at the hotel). This impacted us as following: - no central heating in rooms; there was only a small heater so couldn’t sleep due to cold - no hot water for part of our stay - we had to have breakfast in another hotel a walk away. I am disabled and this caused me a lot of pain. No alternatives were offered. - maintenance work washing carried out so reception as moved to another hotel - varnishing of floors was being carried out. The smell was strong (like acetone) into our rooms causing us headaches. We asked to be moved hotels. Expedia and hotel ignored concerns during are stay and still no compensation after. This hotel is truly awful as is Expedia’s lack of action with these not just comfort but also health and safety and disability concerns.

All was good. Breakfast very good. Staff was fine. The problem is the housekeeping team that leaves the room of the guest that comes for a longer period like me, for last and i found myself waiting at the reception for hours to get onto the room and relax after lunch. In spite of numerous requests to clean my room early!

It is a gem in Tel Aviv across Dissengoff square It used to be the Esther Cinema then transformed into a hotel. It is set up as a museum of cinema and the top of the hotel there is an incredible view of Tel Aviv. At early evening they have a happy hour. The breakfast also is very good. The rooms a little small, however all the other amenities are excellent,

The best feature of the Cinema Hotel was its location, right in the heart of the best outdoor cafes, restaurants and boutiques. Dizengoff Square is definitely where it is happening. The room was small but clean and equipped with all the basic amenities, plus a small balcony that overlooked the square.

Surprendente e maravilhoso.

O café da manhã era variado e excepcional. Comida tipica israelense e internacional. Impecável. Localização excepcional. Fizemos tudo a pé, inclusive indo a estação de trem para outras cidades. Muitos cafes e restaurantes no entorno, a poucos passos. Shopping a 100 metros. E uma decoração que merece ser visitada, como se fosse uma exposição de equipamentos e memoria do cinema. Inacreditável. Adoramos e certamente voltaremos a este hotel.

Avoid by all means

The rooms are super small already priced for what you’re getting and very outdated. The shower was peeling the ceiling was very low. You could touch your head at the top on a very average height. Between the bed and the desk there’s no space to move so it’s impossible to sit and work. I had a water bottle half used on my table the cleaning was average overall it was average no chance on coming back. The receptionist in the evening was lovely and the lady in the morning was marvellous apart from that I wouldn’t go
