"This is a gorgeous historic hotel, and on the whole we enjoyed our stay, but it is above an all-night speakeasy. 3 out of our 4 nights we had loud base drum sounds well into the morning. This was fine for the adults in our party who could sleep in ear plugs, but my daughter was kept up until 1-2am those 3 nights. If you’re a party of adults- 5 stars. If you have any children or sensitive sleepers- skip."

"While I was notified the hotel was under construction, I did not anticipate having only one working elevator and no Ice machines available on any of the floors with the exception of floor three. I was also charged for one night of parking which I did not utilize. After calling the hotel, the parking situation was fixed, which I did appreciate."

"It was incredibly loud. The room was not put together, I was put in the wrong room with no remedy and the biggest problem was there are no blackout grapes, even though that was advertised. I will never again at least the most uncomfortable thing I have ever had."

"The TV remote did not work. I called the office. The girl came to the room and made the remote work.....some of the time. I quit trying to use the remote. Turned off the TV using the buttons on the back. The next morning I told the same girl it did not work. That evening. No remote replacement. Checked out the next day. Still no replacement remote. I have been staying in this motel for 27 years. There has almost always been a problem of some kind. But it is located near my work. The beds are comfortable."
