“The houses are located in the bush, so you can see monkeys and elephants from your balcony. The houses are very spacious with a lot of amenities, such as a jacuzzi, mosquito net etc. The food is delicious and a good variety is provided. The staff is cordially and it feels like family! Our Ranger was very experienced and we saw all Big 5 on one day. ”

“Marataba is different from other safari lodges. First there are only two lodges in the whole park which means no crowds. Game drives where incredible with Big 5 viewings, but specially one of the 5 (won't Say for conservation issues) is everywhere. The mounitain and the view just makes this place magic. Staff Will do everything in their power to make You feel like Home. ”

“We enjoyed our stay @ Safari Plains. Arriving we were received by such friendly faces. The Luxury Tented Chalet we stayed in were overlooking the field where the game came to graze. We enjoyed the morning & afternoon game drives with the well informed guide, Ben. On our first night we had an open air dinner prepared by the chef and staff, it was amazing! We most definately recommend a stay at this 5 star lodge it will be an experience you'll never forget. ALL the staff made our stay fantastic. ”
