“We only did a one night stay but it was great! Will definitely stay again next summer. Place was very chill. The room was so cute to me . Pool was great for my 5yo to get some real swimming in after we left the beach . Close to the pier, cute little places to eat in walking distance . Beach access right across the beach road. It was perfect for a quick beach stay! Reasonably priced too!”

“From the minute we walked in, I knew it was not going to work out. We have been going to Wrightsville Beach for 17 years and never had the opportunity to stay at the Shell Island Resort, so I decided to book a weekend for my husband and I. The hotel is very old and outdated; once you walk in, the smell is horrible, the staff is unfriendly, the elevators were not working, and the ice machine was not working. IT WAS A DISASTER!.
