“Wonderful staff and stay.”

“This stay was magnificent! I honestly had the best sleep of my life! The hosts were wonderful and breakfast was outstanding!! Sadly, I could only stay one night, but this s a more than perfect stop on your vacation!”

“It was an amazing hotel. It is a converted mansion that was exceptionally cared for. The restaurant had very good food and the staff was exceptional.”

“The location was great as a base for the local attractions . The facilities were basic, shower looked great with nice products to use but the flow of water was poor and kept going hot and cold . The restaurant was average with mass produced food . Buffet breakfast had many options from porridge to full fry up Plenty of free parking . Some staff need further training when asked basic questions like the verity of ice cream flavours on offer the response was I'm not sure so I promoted her to go...

“Great spot, old school pub decor, room was spacious for a family of four. Pub located downstairs served beautiful food. Nice beer garden out the back to relax with a drink. Breakfast in the morning was also really nice. Staff- friendly and very helpful. Would recommend 👍”

“Beds where comfy and good location”

“This was a little tougher than expected. However it was altogether nice. More like renting a resort cottage. Would be great for young couples or groups of friends. Lots of little extras having a full kitchen and laundry. Shower not really an option. Local area very quiet. This also meant few options for pubs or restaurants except the local grocer. Slept well with the windows open and enjoyed magnificent views of the mournes and water.”

“Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle.”
