"The staff were super friendly and even upgraded us from a queen room to a king. We were asked if we would prefer a higher or lower floor and we said higher and they put us on the 13th which was great. The valet was quick which was a plus as well but $60 a night for parking is a little egregious. The only other negative to consider is the pool really isn’t all that great. It’s quite small with limited seating. But the pool bar is nice and the servers were great! Overall it was a good stay!"

"Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Austin University Capitol District was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is beautiful, modern, and exceptionally clean. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always providing friendly and professional service with a smile. The location is perfect—close to downtown, the University of Texas, restaurants, and many of Austin’s attractions, making it easy to explore the city. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, well-maintained facilities, and the overall welcoming atmosphere. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Austin and will definitely stay here again on our next trip!"

"Parking is convenient, but expensive almost $50/day. Breakfast options on day 1 were good, on the second day we did not like them as much. There was very loud music being played at a bar/restaurant close to the hotel. When we notified the front desk they very promptly switched our room to a different room on the other side of the building where the music did not bother us, this was very good of the hotel staff. Overall a very nice, compact and convenient place to stay."
