"Fabulous hotel made to feel welcome as soon as we entered the bar on a busy Sunday lunchtime! The landlord let us check in early the room overlooked the bar garden and nice rural views! Lovely really pub with a selection of real ales! Will be return in the near future! Ingelton is a pretty place. The breakfast is delicious good quality ingredients. Ideal for families. "

"This is the second time we've stayed at the Mason Freehouse, it was lovely the first time we stayed, which made us keen to return. Although it is now under new management, it's clear that the lovely, friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere is something the staff are keen to retain. "Fantastic stopover on trip down south . Recently refurbished with great food and exceptional staff. Room was a tad small however this was balanced with cleanliness and really nice toiletries. The food was freshly cooked quickly served and a great range of options. Breakfast - amazing and included in price -"

"Lovely hotel with great rooms, good selection of coffees teas and local fudge. Fresh milk provided to take to your room. Great range of beds, bowls and treats for dogs too. Meals were excellent and the staff, Sarah and Rob (and the others too) went above and beyond to make us all feel welcome and sort gluten free information for one of our party. Will definitely go back."

"The property is in a poor state of repair but the bed was comfy, the shower was warm, the breakfast was nice and the lady was friendly. Kirkby Lonsdale was a nice town in a beautiful area and the Ingleton Waterfalls trail nearby was breathtaking."
