โThis is the second time we've stayed at the Mason Freehouse, it was lovely the first time we stayed, which made us keen to return. Although it is now under new management, it's clear that the lovely, friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere is something the staff are keen to retain. We're looking forward to coming back and staying again, as the plans for new menus sound fantastic.

โEasy to find. Staff friendly. Although the room felt tired it was clean comfortable and had everything you needed, however as a light sleeper a blackout blind would be welcome. We had a evening meal was absolutely delicious and we would recommend. Would stay here againโ

โ5 stars are not enough for the George and Dragon - the absolute best care and hospitality can be found here! Such a gem in a beautiful village with so much history. All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. โ
โThis was a lovely place to stay and incredible value for money. This is not a 5* hotel but it has a lovely charm and a is ran by a hardworking, lovely couple. A room with breakfast included for the price you are paying is amazing. Me and my wife enjoyed our breakfast and even catered for me (vegetarian). Highly recommend! Will stay here again. โ
