“This is an excellent location, about 15-20 minutes outside of Galway. The room was clean, included two twins and was comfortable. We were on the top floor which was up two flights of stairs, only annoying when bringing the luggage in. There was parking for about 6-8 vehicles in the back, we didn't have trouble finding a space but the lot was full each morning. “We booked for one night, and were looking forward to using the spa facilities. When we arrived, we were told that they were shut for refurbishment. Apparently, this work has been going on for some time. I was told an email had been sent out. I did not receive any email. The hotel has a duty to let people know such things, so they have a choice of changing their plans. I noticed a lot of unhappy people that weekend. They are not afraid to charge top prices, and yet offer very little in return.”

“The room was small but workable. The door is an old fashioned key from both sides type with no other means to lock the door from the inside. The first bath towel I got literally fell apart but the 2nd one was the softest I’ve ever had at a hotel. Restaurant was good and they poured a good pint. The walls are quite thin so it’s a little noisy. ”
