"Great resort, attentive staff, awesome breakfast and lovely pool area with multiple staff attending to your needs. They had lifeguards, complimentary cold water, watermelon juice, watermelon fruit and a sunglass cleaner. The only negative was there were no cafes, shops or restaurants close by, however the hotel had many eating places to choose from. Suggestion - it would be great if the two intercontinental hotels had a shuttle service between them so you can experience the beach and the city hotels."
Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli

"Great place to stay if you have a layover, as it’s close to the airport, take the metro from HIA to Msheireb and then change to Gold line one stop to Souq Waqif. The hotel has buggies which you can take to the hotel. Rooms are a good size and very quiet and you wouldn’t guess you were at the Souq. Staff super friendly. Didn’t have breaks fast on this trip, but have had it on previous trips and it’s good. Stay you won’t regret it."
