Wie in England typisch liegt รผberall Teppich, und das Badezimmer ist schlecht belรผftet. Die Grรถรe des Familienzimmers im ersten Stock war vollkommen ausreichend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, der Frรผhstรผcksraum sehr klein, aber das Frรผhstรผck sehr gut organisiert. Bis etwa 8 Uhr wird fรผr warmes britisches Frรผhstรผck am Tisch serviert, spรคter ist Buffet.

Check in; staff were, polite, helpful and knowledgeable.
Bedroom was clean, space enough and tidy. Plenty of tea, coffee etc and a good variety.
Bathroom clean, great shower and plenty of good quality toiletries.
Dining, good choice and well prepared. Staff polite, informative and attentive, but did not pester.
Breakfast, large varied choice and plenty of it.

โThe location within the cathedral grounds is a special feature. Lovely to wander around in the evening and easy for the restaurants.
Breakfast was fabulous with a choice of cooked or a large continental menu. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a smallish double and the shower was adequate but not a huge space. Overall a delightful experience.

โBeautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. The room was clean, although some of the furniture was a bit dated.
Breakfast was a decent selection, especially considering this wasn't a big placeโ
โWe gas the first morning had till 11 am to have a hot drink. When hot water is on the boiler is very noisy.
The bathroom was too narrow and the towel hooks stcking out did not help. The oven did not smell right when lit and we did not use it.

โWe stopped here for a Spitfires game for our young fella and to be honest wasnโt expecting much - but we were incredibly pleasantly surprised!! This place is exceptional, easy to find, easy to access and staff instructions were friendly and easy to follow. This is a great stay! โ
