โWe loved our weekend , the hotel was in a great location . Facilities staff and food were wonderful . The only downside was the constant traffic noise at night until early hours of the morning . This is probably the busy bank holiday weekend .โ
โThe property is ideally situated close to the sea and is well maintained. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Rooms were a good size with lovely views across the bay. Staff very helpful at all times.
Stairs leading up to the rooms were a little difficult if you had mobility issues with carrying your luggage up but this was only a small negative. Would definitely stay again.โ

โGood location, walkable to Canterbury Cathedral. Good single room, comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helped me up to my room by carrying my suitcase. Since I was on the top floor, this was much appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful starting with continental choices and then a full cooked meal with several choices on the menu. Very good value for the cost.โ
โThe food was really good. Although no elevator the staff were super accommodating as my older mother was traveling with me and they carried bags to our room. The English hot tea was best we had in England. โ

Despite that it is an old building, it is tidy and well-maintained. The room(old-style) was clean and tidy. The food was okay.
