“We lived the quietness and the fireplace for reading.”

“Kilkea Castle was a wonderful stay. Last minute we booked a room in the Lodges; unfortunately, the actual Castle was all booked up. This didn’t lessen the experience though. The lodge room was clean, comfortable, well-appointed and had a fairway view. We were also able to use the facilities in the castle itself. We weren’t there to golf and that was just as well as the course was closed for maintenance. As a golfer the course did look like a premium course, and I’d love to go back for...

“Basic but functional room. Check in was fine but a man of few words.”

“The standard room was dark small and uncomfortable had 1 full bed and a twin it’s a a family room I don’t understand why we were assigned that room we are a couple luckily we don’t spend time in the room. Also the pictures on Expedia did not show that the standard room had this format. We complained but were told that is how all the standard rooms are. Pool area isn’t very nice small pool and there wasn’t a hot tub”
