Great place and great value

We really enjoyed our stay. This is a very friendly hotel. The owners go out of their way to make you feel like home. It’s a very short ride to the hot springs state park. The hotel loans you towels to bring to state park hot springs pool.

As all the other comments state, the new owners are SO nice. Room was surprisingly cute with the decorations. The room even came with a mini kitchenette which was such a nice surprise. Would definitely stay there again

Great Place & Great Price.

The owner/operator is very friendly and accommodating. Our hiking trip ended up short by one day and they were more then willing to adjust our reservations. They gave us some pointers on the local scene and also then (after supplying additional towels) arranged a late check out so that we could go to the local mineral bath.

Cute little dive. The owners are very friendly and are working hard to make this a nice place. I don't usually like hotel rooms that open out to the parking lot, but I couldn't resist the price. The room was very dated, but clean. The beds were firm, but comfy. The ancient air conditioner sounds like a small airplane coming in for a landing, but it worked nicely and kept the room cool, inspite of the 100 degree weather. Good place for people traveling on a tight budget.

It's an older motel showing it's age but the room was clean. Room had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Wi-Fi was great and free parking right outside the room. Check in was easy but the person went on a rant about Expedia not giving the correct price. Seems they have issues with Expedia but it's not something I needed to hear or be concerned about. She was friendly but didn't need to dicsuss her concerns with Expedia to a guest.

This is an older motel with a kitchenette. In our room each bed had its own little alcove that gave increased privacy. We would definitely stay here again and maybe make it a vacation! Very friendly staff.

A new gem in Thermopolis

The Paintbrush is a truly wonderful place to stay. The hosts are very nice, helpful, considerate people. This hotel is exactly what you need if you want a comfortable, well-priced hotel in a town where the attraction is not the hotel. We loved it and will return whenever we come to the hot springs. The new owners deliver spacious rooms, fluffy towels, great soap, a large refrigerator, air conditioning and screened windows. More enjoyable than a five-star hotel.
