"First impression not very friendly "

"Properly was fairly clean, but dated. My room needed paint, wall cracks repaired and a furniture upgrade. TV was small (32”), remote had no features, had sleep timer button button, but the feature was nonexistent. Cable was terrible. Very few stations and no guide. Next time I am in the area I will stay at the Hilton Garden Inn across the street. "

"No shops immediately nearby, but close enough. Heat and AC worked perfectly and powerfully. Bathroom nicely and intelligently appointed with a nightlight. Immediate presentation of room is attractive, soothing and up to date with all kinds of subtle lighting. Some scuff marks on furniture near television. All hotels seem to choose this furniture that is vulnerable to scuffing. Parking in garage very close to entrance with easy system. Took ubers to and from dinner at fabulous Zinc Restaurant on Church St. Front desk person friendly and competent. "

"The lady working at the bar made a great impression. Very polite and helpful. Only negative for the whole stay, was the sound. Thin walls and the person above us stomped a lot. Nothing the hotel could help, so overall, fantastic stay."

"Room was clean but just out dated. Bath fan sounded like a plane. 1 outlet in whole room and it was across from the bed away from any tables. Charged my tablet and phone on the floor. The place somehow actually made Motel 6 across the street look good. "

"My wife had a procedure at Yale New Haven and I only one night. It was very convenient and pleasant. I only used the room. Not the bar or restaurant."

"We loved our stay here. The staff was so wonderful! (Mary Luz at the Starbucks was so sweet!) and the food was fresh and delicious. The waitstaff was attentive and cognizant and caring regarding food allergies. The views from every vantage were special and memorable. We had not great weather and it did not matter!! It was a perfect getaway spot. "
