“This is a centrally located hotel in Kilkenny with a good bar featuring live music. Rooms are quite large and comfortable but are dated and could use a face lift. The lobby was jammed with a bus tour during check in so that was a poor experience for us as the desk was jammed and the lift was too. Breakfast was included but the restaurant only opened at 7 and out. Us to Dublin was at 7:15 so we were out of luck. “I loved the charm of this hotel. The staff was lovely and helpful. It was close to everything, walking distance from nearly all main attractions. They do not have a lift but staff will bring your luggage to your room. There a several flights of stairs so not for those who have mobility issues. My room was clean and oozed old world charm. The bathroom seemed to have been newly renovated. This is where some little things were missed: no towel racks at all, no shelves or trays to put shampoo,...
