"The quality of the breakfast bar has slipped a little since I stayed here 2 years ago. I arrived at breakfast the first morning and there was hardly any eggs left and three pieces of sausage. There were three people in line behind me, therefore rationed my selection so as not to feel guilty by not leaving any for the others. Also, no one was wiping off the tables after people were finished eating, so I had to wipe the table with a napkin before sitting down. The last morning of my stay, the coffee machine was completely out-of-order. This machine also provides the hot water for tea. As an avid coffee drinker, I really look forward to getting the day started with my cup of coffee. You would think that a motel of this size would have an old fashioned Bunn coffee maker on hand to serve as a backup for such emergencies. To make the situation worse, this happened to be Sunday morning on the Fourth of July weekend and since Shipshewana is an Amish community, every other restaurant in town is closed!!! So, my wife and I disappointedly headed back home to Michigan and finally got a morning cup of coffee at the McDonalds in Three Rivers Michigan at 11:30 a.m.!!!! The room in which we stayed was clean and comfortable. However, due to the reduction in the quality of the breakfast service, I would consider other hotel options before booking here again."

"The hotel was clean and the room was very quiet. I had a room with 2 beds and there was no comfortable seating in the room. I did not use amenities other than wi-fi which was slow but stable. I booked this place specifically because I was attending a concert across the street. The convenience of being able to walk to and from the concert was wonderful!"

"I called ahead to see about making a change to a king over the doubles and couldn't which was fine. But let's make it clear these are definitely NOT QUEEN BEDS THEY ARE FULL SIZE BEDS. BESIDES that when we got there we paid cash for the room and deposit. After we checked in I checked what my locked price should be and noticed we were OVER CHARGED. I immediately after realizing it went to the desk and told them we were over CHARGED they said they had to look into it. When checking out 2 days later I was still told they don't know why we were over CHARGED and I had to talk to a manager to get my difference back. Smh"
