โUsually stay at the well know brand hotels when traveling, but took a chance on this one based on Orbitz reviews and photos. So glad we did! Awesome hotel, with the friendliest hosts, valet/doormen, and staff. They went out of their way to help us to feel that southern hospitality! Lobby had elegant and Sirenaโ
โA beautiful spot of quiet right in the midst of everything! The staff were and so very helpful!
Our room is everything I hoped for and more! I had a business trip right after our anniversary trip and the Pinch has in room washer and dryers! I was able to get my laundry done quickly and efficiently in my own time!
Our room had a small little terrace that we were able to enjoy our coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening!
When we go back to Charleston the Pinch will be the first...
โSuch a great boutique hotel with Charleston history and charm. Easy walk to King Street for shopping and lots of great restaurants and bars. Loved the happy hour and included breakfast โ visited with other guests at both. Todd took care of our bags and parking our car and Louisa at reception gave us lots of restaurant and bar recommendations. Want to stay longer and come back!โ
โFound the room to be very clean and quite nice despite the lower cost. The valet option was also great and affordable, especially when compared to the paid parking lots around the area. The inn was also in an amazing location, we walked everywhere we needed to go and was able to explore the city and come back still feeling safe.โ
โWe loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is โfreeโ offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. When I got there I found out that parking was in fact not free, but $1 per 20 minutes with a maximum of $24. I was willing to pay this, but was disappointed because I...
โThis place was GREAT! WE really loved our stay- the location is great. We were pleasantly surprised by the details in our room that added to our comfort . We had great drinks in the lobby bar. The lobby staff is super friendly and helpful.โ
โLovely, bright, quaint space on a quiet street within easy walking distance of King Street. Hosts were very attentive and quick to communicate. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!โ
โWe booked our room last minute for a one night stopover from wintering in Florida. What a great room which actually was a well fitted 1 bedroom apt. So clean. Such nice amenities. We even had a secure parking spot with our bikes. Great location, a few blocks from King street. Would love to return!! โ
โLoved this hotel! Staff is best Iโve seen. Very nice, pleasant, and helpful. Close to everything. We loved the wonderful gift of champagne in the room. Very high quality hotel all the way around! โ
โa nice hotel, but the breakfast was quite disappointing..a paper box with a sugary muffin, a sour fruit cup, and a tiny cup of orange juice. not thoughtful or satisfying.
To make matters worse, getting this breakfast required scanning a QR code, visiting a third party website, and entering my personal information just to make a reservation. Honestly, it might have been better not to offer anything at all.
No one would expect to go through this much trouble just to get such a mediocre breakfast...
