Top Trio Hotel Reviews
Hampton Inn Charleston-Historic District
10/10 Excellent
"Great location to everything! The free bus all three lines stop right outside the hotel! Perfect so much fun"
Andrew Pinckney Inn
8/10 Good
"Conveniently located, clean. Staff could have been better."
Emeline
10/10 Excellent
"The happy hour was delightful. The hotel location perfect! The room was 2 king suite, beyond our expectation. The concierge was never around when we inquired however, the front desk was very helpful. Access to bikes were very convenient, took a ride down by the waterfront."
The Palmetto Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great little boutique property with perfect location. Decor is beautiful, bar was great (try the espresso martini!), staff was very friendly and helpful, and the included continental breakfast was icing on the cake. Would recommend and would stay again. Best suited for couples of any age. Not really suited for families of young children."
Indigo Inn
8/10 Good
"The hotel was very nice and in a great location. I highly recommend it because it is within walking distance of the French Quarter and the main street in Charleston. The staff was always very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offered a great variety of options. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as having snacks and drinks available at the reception, which made us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The only downside was that there was a fairly strong sewage smell in the courtyard, which was a little unpleasant. When we asked about it, the staff explained that it was a city-related issue and that there was not much they could do about it. Other than that, we had a very good experience and would definitely recommend this hotel."
The Francis Marion Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was very friendly and helpful from the front desk to the bell hops."
Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston Historic District
8/10 Good
"Our room was clean however there were stains on the floor, fold out couch had a thin flat mattress, paint drips on the wall paper, and would not close all the way."
The Restoration
10/10 Excellent
"Great stay. Quiet. Right in the middle of downtown. Valet parking is a must. The breakfast baskets were fun. You get a discount at the coffee shop when you stay here."
Hotel Bennett
8/10 Good
"This is a very comfortable hotel right in the middle of Charleston with lots of good restaurants, museums and historical attractions within walking distance. The staff is helpful, omnipresent and courteous. Not cheap, however. Rooms are reasonably priced but amenities can be costly. We liked our room, but some issue with water pressure and water running through cold water faucet never really got cold. Overall we would recommend the Bennett/ provided you are not on a budget! Complimentary car service was a big plus."
